Simply, I'm running for Council because I love Rossland and I
want to help take care of this place we're lucky enough to
call home.
When I first visited Rossland in 2016, I knew right away that
this place was special. I've often compared Rossland to
Narnia, it's hard to get to, and not everyone is
lucky enough to find their way here.
I bring 20 years of experience in provincial and national
health regulation, with a career focused on good governance,
policy, accountability, and navigating complex legislation.
My work has taught me how to look at difficult issues from
different perspectives, work within legislative requirements,
manage competing priorities, make the best use of limited
resources and make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions.
I believe leadership should be open, engaged and
collaborative.
Special places like Rossland don't happen by accident, and
they don't stay that way without intentional care. I'm running
for Council to help protect what makes Rossland special and
unique while proactively moving our community forward.
