Simply, I'm running for Council because I love Rossland and I want to help take care of this place we're lucky enough to call home.
When I first visited Rossland in 2016, I knew right away that this place was special. I've often compared Rossland to Narnia, it's hard to get to, and not everyone is lucky enough to find their way here.
I bring 20 years of experience in provincial and national health regulation, with a career focused on good governance, policy, accountability, and navigating complex legislation. My work has taught me how to look at difficult issues from different perspectives, work within legislative requirements, manage competing priorities, make the best use of limited resources and make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions.
I believe leadership should be open, engaged and collaborative.
Special places like Rossland don't happen by accident, and they don't stay that way without intentional care. I'm running for Council to help protect what makes Rossland special and unique while proactively moving our community forward.
Rossland is a special place, and as our community grows, we need to make sure it stays that way. I believe growth should be thoughtful and support everyone who lives here.
That means planning ahead for infrastructure, supporting sustainable growth, and making it easier for locally owned businesses to thrive. Most importantly, it means making decisions that keep Rossland welcoming, connected, and livable for everyone.
Our trails, forests, wildlife, and clean air and water are a big part of what makes Rossland home. I believe protecting these things should be part of how we plan and make decisions about our community's future.
Our natural environment is one of Rossland's most vital resources, essential to our quality of life and local identity. Protecting it is deeply personal to me, which is why I actively volunteer with local organizations dedicated to environmental stewardship and wildlife conservation. Through hands-on community involvement, I remain committed to safeguarding our environment and resources.
Change is inevitable, but we can choose how we shape it so it results in positive outcomes for our community. I want Rossland to plan ahead, not simply react to growth, economic challenges, climate impacts, and evolving community needs.
By making thoughtful decisions now, we can protect what makes Rossland special and unique while creating opportunities for our community to thrive into the future.

The campaign period opens, 28 days before voting day. From here, every piece of election advertising in Rossland has to carry its sponsorship information, which is why that line sits at the bottom of every page of this site.
